The Meguiars brand of car waxes is also very highly rated by consumers – and for good reason. It is popular throughout the world, having a stellar reputation with professional car buffs. One cutting edge product is the NXT Generation Tech Wax. This particular product comes in both liquid and paste forms, lasts well over a month and has a medium shine, perfect for those who don’t want to be nearly blinded by high gloss glare but want a decent shine. A particular benefit of this particular car wax is its ease of application, simple enough for beginners to use.
Meguiars Cleaner Wax also gets high praise for both removing old wax build-up and restoring car colors. It simply has to be applied, left in place for minutes and then removed. It is truly that easy to use and gets excellent results. The Deep Crystal Car Wax has a one step. Customers particularly like how easy it is to apply and remove. It lasts up to 3 months. Meguiars also offers car wax kits in either classic or NXT formulations. Both contain detailing and shine enhancers.
If car owners want a deeper, darker car color, the Meguiars brand of Gold Class Clear Gold Liquid Wax is desirable. It evens out car color and makes dark color simply shimmer. For owners of deep solid colored cars, this wax could be a must.
Steps to Apply Meguiar’s Wax
Wash your vehicle thoroughly, and ensure that you remove all dirt and debris from the surface. Dry the vehicle off completely.
Park the vehicle in a shaded area. During hot sunny days, the wax will dry quickly and leave streaks. Park underneath a carport or
in an area with good shade.
Apply a small portion of wax to start with, using the applicator that comes with the wax. Rub in a circular motion until the wax starts to disappear.
Repeat Step 3 until the car has been completely covered with wax–excluding such surfaces as the windshield and lights. There will be a slight residue of wax after the application.
Buff the remaining residue of wax off of the vehicle using a soft cloth in a circular motion until the paint holds a shine. The surface will feel slightly slippery as you buff. Be sure to buff around creases in the vehicle such as around the hood and doors thoroughly since wax tends to build up on these areas.
